Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is the frequency of publications?

    IJORCS publishes a regular issue every two (2) months apart from special issues. Thus, 6 regular issues are published every year. Actual dates may vary sometimes, but generally all articles are published on first week of the month.

  2. May I request for extension in submitting my paper?

    Yes, the author can request for extension, specifying the reason behind. After analyzing the situation, Editor would inform you about the Board's decision. If provided, the duration of an extension provided typically varies from 6-8 days.

  3. In what format I have to send the paper?

    We recommend the authors to use IJORCS Paper Template to format paper before submitting it using Submit page.

  4. I haven't received acknowledgement for submitting my paper, I should submit again or not?

    Paper submissions are normally acknowledged within 1-3 minutes. In case you do not receive any acknowledgment for a submitted paper, please do not resubmit your paper using the Paper Submission Form. Kindly drop us an email at editor [at] ijorcs [dot] org.

  5. My paper has not been accepted, what's next?

    Papers not accepted after the first review round, are sent back to authors either for major revisions or are subject to complete reject. In case a paper is not accepted (major revision required), we highly recommend authors to revise and implement the reviewers recommendations and the re-send your paper to the Editor. Each submitted paper can undergo a maximum of 5 review rounds.

  6. Revised paper submitted, what's next?

    Revised papers are sent to the reviewers concerned to ensure continued evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the papers. Authors are informed about the publication decision once we receive the reviewer's feedback and recommendations.

  7. My manuscript has been accepted, How do I register it?

    Information about paper registration will be provided to you through the registration form once your paper will be accepted for publication. Currently we accept registration fees through bank transfer, Drafts, Western Union and Money Gram.

  8. My paper has been published, But not available on web?

    All published papers are normally indexed within 2-3 weeks from the date of publication and thereafter should normally be visible on the Web within 5-7 days.

  11. What is the need of Anti-plagiarism Board?

    The International Journal Of Research in Computer Science (IJORCS) is committed towards the fight against plagiarism. Our Anti-plagiarism Board has the responsibility to deal with cases of plagiarism and any other unethical issue.
